Still Life Painting 101 part 2

My last attempts with oil and some studies. This is like playing piano, many years to achieve a good level. Frustrating.

More watercolor

Here are a couple of paintings... the first one is an illustration for a magazine's article about the differences between men and women... (witch ones are enormous!) and I showed them from "the beginning". The second illustration is about a poem called "A Summer Morning" by Richard Wilbur.

'Anniversaire' concept, inking, more inking...

This is a sample shot for a short film that I'm working called "Anniveraire".
Here is the ink, drawing and sketch that I used.
The ink has some mistakes but it was done very fast so... no complains.

Watercolor - Light studies

I'm learning watercolor since march and I like it!
It is fast, intuitive and easy to mess-up.
Here are some light studies of daylight and artificial light
on one of the corners of my place.
Hope to get better on this...

Oil Portrait #5

Here is the last oil studio portrait, isn't very good, but i tried a new way to put strokes on panel. Like more free and separated between them, avoiding smooth surfaces and shapes blending... but kip the same effect. Happy with the effect, but not with the painting.
